West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner, David Jamieson said: “It is deeply saddening to hear of the death of His Royal Highness Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh.
“The Duke of Edinburgh devoted his entire life to public service and his influence has had a profound impact on our country.
“My thoughts are with Her Majesty the Queen and all of the Royal Family at this very sad time.”
