A complaint against police is defined as: “any expression of dissatisfaction with a police force which is expressed by or on behalf of a member of the public”.

No, the Police and Crime Commissioner is not the appropriate authority for complaints against West Midlands Police. Therefore, once your complaint has been logged, the Police and Crime Commissioner cannot become involved.
