The PCC is the link between you and the police. Responsible for holding the force to account and ensuring they make the right decisions on your behalf.
Engagement is at the heart of how the Police and Crime Commissioner represents local people across the West Midlands.
By listening to residents, victims, community groups, and partner organisations, the Police and Crime Commissioner ensures that policing priorities reflect the issues that matter most across the West Midlands.
The Commissioner’s Police and Crime Plan 2025-29, developed in consultation with local communities prioritises:
- Rebuilding community policing
- Preventing and tackling serious youth violence and knife crime
- Preventing and tackling violence against women and girls
- Improving road and travel safety
- Protecting victims and witnesses
This section sets out how you can have your say, learn about our engagement activity and see how public feedback helps shape decisions, improve services, and strengthen trust and confidence in local policing.
