West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner Simon Foster says he will seek assurances from the Chief Constable that intelligence received ahead of the Aston Villa v Maccabi Tel Aviv game was accurate, credible and reliable.

The PCC and Chief Constable will appear before a Home Affairs Select Committee on Monday to speak about the circumstances around the game.

The PCC has now published letters he has sent to the Chief Constable and the Shadow Home Secretary and Nick Timothy MP ahead of the Committee meeting.
