| #POWERS | We’ll be using Section 60 powers in Coventry today until 2am tomorrow (25 March). They enable us to stop and search people we suspect may be involved in violence, without the need to have reasonable grounds. The powers will cover areas of the city centre, as on the map, and we’ll have increased patrols in place. Following a large-scale funeral we are anticipating significant gatherings in the city and we are using these powers to keep people safe.
