| #POWERS | We’ll be using Section 60 powers again in parts of Birmingham until 12am tomorrow (5 March). It allows us to stop and search people we suspect may be involved in violence involving weapons, without the need to have reasonable grounds. The powers will cover Birmingham City Centre, Perry Barr, Handsworth, Lozells, Handsworth, Aston, Nechells, Jewellery Quarter, Winson Green. It follows recent violence where weapons were used.
